Eleven Filipino workers killed and 14 injured in Saudi Arabia bus smash

In an unconfirmed report, GMA News has posted details of a bus accident in Saudi Arabia that has killed 11 Filipino workers.

The report notes that at least eleven Filipinos were killed, while 14 others were wounded on Monday afternoon when the bus they were riding in collided with a delivery truck in Al-Ahsa, a province in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia.

The Philippine Embassy has yet to confirm the report, but sources told GMA news that all the passengers on the bus were Filipino electricians who were working in a contracting and engineering company.

Authorities say the fatalities could eventually be as high as 14 victims.
