From Davao City’s Mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s Facebook page, a solemn photograph as he stops by a roadside altar to give prayer for those lost two years ago when one of the worst typhoons hit the Philippines.
His Facebook page simply says: “I lit candles and offered a prayer in the memory of those we lost when Typhoon Yolands struck our country two years ago. May God grant them eternal repose and bless those they left behind.”
