“World No Tobacco Day” was observed on Sunday and the Philippines was no different when the city of Davao celebrated its 13th year as a ‘non-smoking city’.
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte celebrated the day by saying: “The government has already collected 3.2 million pesos from your vice,” addressing the statement to those who have been caught breaking the anti-smoking ordinance.
