A Czech man wanted in his home country for embezzling $400,000 in construction funds has been arrested in the town of Alcoy, Cebu.
The Bureau of Immigration made the report just this week, however 60-year-old Godus Dusan was arrested on August 6 after hiding in the Philippines for more than a year.

Authorities said that Dusan was a fugitive and Czech police say he will officially be charged with fraud, money-laundering and several other related charges.
Czech authorities issued an arrest warrant for Dusan in June of 2015 – the Philippines has now just arrested him a year and two months later.
