A total of 31 tourist visiting the world-famous island of Boracay have been rescued during the month of August says the local Coast Guard.
The rescues from the resort island were high due to typhoon Ineng, as many visiting the island at that time attempted to go into the waters.

Incidents happened in Stations 1,2, and 3 respectively and even included one from Willy’s Rock.
Nine out of the 31 cases recorded were on August 22, the height of typhoon Ineng.
