A Chinese man will be charged with murder after police say he killed his homosexual partner and stuffed his body into a large piece of travel luggage.

25-year-old Tsai Che Yu (also known as Jayson Santos Lee) of Pasay City is charged with taking the oversized piece of luggage and dumping it along Cavite Expressway in Bacoor, Cavite.

Police say that Yu committed the crime and will no doubt face a lengthy jail term for the murder.

A report on the incident shows the suspect stabbed 23-year-old Jonh Leo Tababa (also knows as Ashley Reilly) of Malate, Manila (he is listed as a native of Pampanga).

Police say a dispute arose between the two after the victim demanded money from the suspect. The suspect told police that he and his lover had frequent arguments over the victim’s continual demand for money.

Yu told police that he met Tababa at Starbucks in Makati in May. That meeting led to a romantic relationship where Tababa would visit Yu’s condo unit frequently.

Police arrested Yu after the suspect returned to his condo unit to clean it as the lease was about to end on June 6.

The gruesome crime scene was discovered by a roaming security officer who was inspecting the 11th floor of the building when he noticed the door slightly ajar. Inside, the security officer saw a gruesome crime scene with blood splattered on the walls and floor of the unit.

Police inspected the CCTV footage of the condo unit and showed Yu having difficulty dragging a brown piece of luggage while leaving his condo unit.
