Belgian pervert Prosper Slachmuylders, aged 76, is under arrest after he was caught naked in bed with a young girl.
Slachmuylders was renting a home in the Trinidad, Bohol, when National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents raided his house, catching him in the act.
The NBI raided the expat’s home after a report that Slachmuylders was forcing dozens of vulnerable children to have sex with him.
“We were surprised to see a young girl completely naked inside the bedroom in the company of Prosper Slachmuylders, who was also naked. The master bedroom was well lit and therefore quite visible when viewed from the outside,” an NBI agent told reporters.
A formal complaint was filed by Citizen Crime Watch, which suspected the Belgian of sexually exploiting high school students, forcing them to have sex with him on camera. Officials are also alleging that he used a samurai sword to threaten his victims if they refused his demands.
A 16-year-old victim reported that she applied to be a housekeeper after her father worked as a carpenter for Slachmuylders. She said in her complaint that she was also told to give him massages, which would always end in sexual intercourse.
So far at least 25 girls have been found to have been victimised by Slachmuylders. NBI agents have seized computers which contained naked photographs and videos that he had recorded.
Slachmuylders will be charged under Republic Act 9775 (the Anti-Child Pornography Act of 2009) as well as Republic Act 9208 (the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003). He will also be charged under Republic Act 9208 (the Child Abuse Law of the Philippines).
Slachmuylders is locked up until further hearings on his arrest.
