The Philippines Department of Tourism (DOT) said it will replace its slogan “It’s More Fun in the Philippines”
During a media conference this week the DOT said a new slogan would be released before the Miss Universe pageant.

The DOT said that a survey showed that while “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” had a 65% approval rating in Europe, but only 26% said they intended to visit the country because of it.
In North America 72% liked the slogan but only 45% said they would visit the islands.
In the press conference DOT officials said s new marketing campaign would be ‘more specific” – though no specifics were given.
