Information shows that a message was received Sunday regarding the discovery of the two who went missing after they left Siaton, Negros Oriental on February 13.

The message came from the Philippine Navy regarding the sighting of the boat with the bodies onboard. The boat was towed to shore for further investigation but no one from the island of Balabac was able to confirm their identity.

However, Fugate’s wallet was recovered from the boat confirming his identity – other items recovered from the boat were an Apple table, one shoulder bag with wallet and ID cards of Fugate. One Motorola Cellphone, two flashlights, one wristwatch and one backpack bag which are now in the custody of the Mangsee Barangay secretary.

Meanwhile the whereabouts of the four other people who boarded the boat in Dumagute are still unknown.

I personally was told information by the family and friends of Fugate and I’m sad to hear of his death as well as his pinay girlfriend – Though he is listed as being from California, his friends and family told me he was originally from Minnesota in the United States.
