An American was arrested by the Philippine National Police-Aviation Security Group for illegal possession of a firearm at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) this week.

Donald Edward Fratz Jr., bound for Cagayan de Oro City via Philippines Airlines flight PR-2529, was arrested after an x-ray machine operator saw what turned out to be a 22. calibre pistol disassembled in his luggage.
Fratz was arrested after he failed to provide any documentation for possessing or transporting the firearm.
