A security officer at Manila’s NAIA airport was arrested in an entrapment operation for asking a woman for sex in exchange for clearing her travel papers this week.

29-year-old Benedict Larcibal was arrested by the Anti-Human Trafficking Division of the National Bureau of Investigation inside a motel in Pasay City.

Larcibal was arrested after he and the victim agreed to work out a solution… the victim instead contacted authorities and an entrapment sting was set up.

An initial investigation into the matter shows the victim was offloaded from her flight to Singapore before Larcibal presented himself as an immigration officer and offered to remove the ‘red marks’ on her papers in exchange for 35,000 pesos.

The red marks on the victims papers indicated that the passenger had been offloaded due to questionable documentation.

Larcibal decided later to change the terms of the agreement – he asked the victim for sexual favours in addition to the money.

Sources say that Larcibal sent numerous texts to the victim, cementing his doom in the entrapment case against him.

Upon his arrest, Larcibal denied the transaction despite authorities catching him in bed and in possession of 10,000 pesos in marked money.

National Bureau of Investigation lawyer, Abdul Jamar Dimaporo asked other victims of similar schemes to come to their office so they could help them seek justice for the wrongdoings against them.

NBI is currently conducting a digital forensic examination of Larcibal’s phone to find out if he had any co-conspirators.
