17-year-old killed while playing with improvised gun

17-year-old Jeffrey Dojenas  of Block 9, Bgy. 28, Pamasawata, C-3 Road, Caloocan City was killed when he accidentally shot himself while playing with an improvised gun yesterday.

Dojenas was rushed to Caloocan City Medical Center where he was declared dead on arrival.

Caloocan Police Station Investigation and Detective Management Branch head Chief Inspector, Ilustre Mendoza said the victim was allegedly playing with an improvised handgun while  loitering, together with his friends, along the pumping station in Barangay 28, Pamasawata, at around 2am.

Police said the improvised handgun accidentally went off, hitting the victim in the chest with the slug exiting through his back.
